Born in Chicago and eventually moving to a small coastal town, Lorie’s deep connection to nature's beauty and the mysteries of the human experience are evident in her whimsical art creations. My art is an exploration of the human spirit and its connection to the natural world. Through my paintings, I strive to capture the essence of emotions, memories, and the enigmatic beauty that surrounds us. Drawing inspiration from the interplay of light and shadow, I create vivid and textured compositions that invite viewers to introspectively contemplate the mysteries of existence. Nature has always been my muse, and I find solace in its ever-changing landscapes. The harmony and chaos that coexist in the natural world mirror the complexities of our own inner landscapes. My work seeks to bridge the gap between the tangible and the intangible, as I explore the depths of human experience and the wonders of the universe. In my artistic process.
